DESIGN PRINCIPLES
01

Transform fiction into fact

I am a thinker/builder who loves the thrill of transforming requirements into reality. It has been my pleasure to have been part of 4 start-ups; 3 client-side global brand teams; multiple international agencies; and production studios as a strategic design partner and expert IC.

Visualize a better world. Initiate transformation. Make it happen.
‍
02

Design that which is consequential, vital, and human

KPIs, benchmarks, and milestones are all frameworks to measure impact and success. However, success should also be defined by those "hell-yeahs" or gasps of wonderment during user sessions.

Don't forget to constantly elevate your users above all metrics, artifacts, and awards. Remember that they are beautifully human and essential to the product and process.
03

Product is Brand. Brand is Product.

As someone who has an appetite for creative autonomy and swift iterative collaboration, there are so many moments to play within the customer experience – places where the lyrical storytelling of brand blends with the logical utility of user-centered product.

Let's do away with the silo-ing of isolated touchpoints in Product and Marketing. Create a thoughtful, unified, and user-obsessed experience.
‍
04

Build with craft, cleverness, and commitment to the user

Questions. Comments. Conundrums, Criticisms. Concerns. Compliments. Cultivate the conversation.

This constant feedback loop is committed relationship-building with the user. By keeping them top of mind, the product remains necessary, useful, and beautiful. It is a shared vision of beauty, a pleasure to use, and ultimately life-enhancing.
